From the Courts to within our communities, the State Constables of Pennsylvania have served the citizens of the commonwealth for over 300 years and are known for their superior service and dedication. The State Constables are elected to a law enforcement office in the executive branch of government and may appoint Deputy Constables to assist in their duties. The most common duty of the Office of Constable today, is to serve as the law enforcement arm of the Magisterial District Courts.
