Arrest Warrants
Pennsylvania State Constables are the Law Enforcement Arm of the Pennsylvania Courts and primarily serve the Magisterial District Courts. However, in some Counties the State Constables may also assist in serving the Common Pleas Court and Mental Health Warrants.
Arrest Warrants are normally issued when a defendant fails to appear for a Court hearing on Criminal or Summary charges, an Arrest Warrant may also be issued when a defendant fails to respond to a Citation or comply with an order of the Court.
If you have received notice or believe a Warrant has been issued for your arrest, it is in your best interest to contact your local State Constable to resolve the matter, failure to respond will ultimately result in your arrest
